    Rubio Monocoat Fumed - tannin reactive product that is used on oak woods

    Fumed is a tannin reactive product that is used on oak woods. It replicates the aged grey look of wood without causing any toxic fumes or vapors. The aged look achieved by using Fumed allows for the creation of unique looks and effects.

    Attention

    This product is a pre-treatment and does not protect the wood. It has to be combined with one of our Rubio Monocoat finishing products for maximum protection.

    Instructions

    An overview of instructions. Please consult the TDS here for complete product information.

    1. Sand the surface to 120/industry guidelines.
    2. Vacuum the surface.
    3. Shake Fumed well.
    4. Apply Fumed to the surface using an applicator pad or pump sprayer.
    5. Be sure to keep a wet edge and apply enough product to ensure even coverage. Do not oversaturate the surface.
    6. After 36 hours, neutralize using a rag damp with water.
    7. Allow the surface to dry completely.
