    What are alcohol inks?

    Alcohol inks are highly concentrated, fast-drying alcohol-based dyes designed for coloring transparent and cast materials such as epoxy resin. Thanks to their intense pigmentation and ability to dissolve in epoxy, they create fine transitions, depth and artistic effects.

    Alcohol inks are liquid, transparent and fast-drying – ideal for striking color blends and depth. Pigment pastes are thicker, opaque and suited to rich, solid coloring of the whole mass.

    Yes, but we recommend them mainly for casting and decorative resin where their effect stands out. Some fast-curing systems may change color or react – always test a small amount first.

    Usually 1–5 drops per 100 g of resin is enough. Use more for a stronger effect, but do not exceed the manufacturer's recommendation.

    First drop in colored alcohol inks, then add a few drops of white ink. This creates the characteristic cloud effect known from petri dishes.
