Key features of the Super Fast Thin EM-02
- Viscosity: 2-3 cPs (ie liquid like water).

Stabilization and penetration of surfaces
Starbond Super Fast Thin glue is suitable for strengthening porous, brittle material such as soft wood (balsa) and ceramics.
If saturation of the porous surface is undesirable, the use of Starbond Accelerator is recommended. The instant cure will prevent Starbond Super Fast Thin from excessive absorption into the porous surface and prevent adhesive waste.

Inlays in combination with metallic pigment
During inlay applications, such as metallic pigment applications, the liquid instant adhesive penetrates the pigment and stabilizes the powder by capillary action. Liquid instant adhesives are often used as a final treatment by applying several layers, sanding and then polishing to a high gloss.
We recommend using quality pigment powders for inlays.

What you ask us about Starbond
How is Starbond different from an ordinary superglue from the shop?
Industrial-grade cyanoacrylate purity, a precisely defined viscosity and fresh batches. An ordinary glue comes in one thickness and you have no idea how long it sat in a warehouse. Starbond has six viscosities from 2 to 2000 cP, each for a different job, and a 30-month shelf life.
Which viscosity should I pick if I’m not sure?
EM-150 Medium. At 150 cP (roughly motor oil) it will both seep into gaps and fill smaller voids — one glue for wood, stone, ceramics, leather and most plastics. Sets in 10–20 seconds.
What is the accelerator for, and do I need it?
CA glue cures with airborne moisture — the accelerator triggers the reaction instantly. It pays off with thick glues, large fills and on dry wood, where the glue would cure slowly. Spray the other side of the joint, not the glue itself.
How should I store Starbond so it lasts?
Cool, dry and tightly closed — ideally in the fridge (let it warm to room temperature before use, or moisture will condense). Wipe the bottle after use so the neck doesn’t glue shut. Unopened, it lasts 30 months.
