DIPON Silmoldcast Platinum 20 is a fully self-degassing professional 2K RTV (room-temperature vulcanising) silicone rubber, suitable for making durable, detailed, elastic and sophisticated moulds. These moulds are suitable for any casting resin (including epoxy, polyester and PU resins), baking moulds (e.g. chocolate), confectionery, biscuits, soap casting, alginates, plaster, concrete, art and many other applications. How to use

Mix SILMOLDCAST PLATINUM 20 vigorously at a ratio of 1:1

(component A + component B) by weight for approx. 2–3 minutes, weighed separately beforehand. To avoid excessive aeration of the material, do not move/stir too fast, i.e. no more than 250 rpm.

After mixing, SILMOLDCAST PLATINUM 20 can be processed for up to 10 minutes

at 23 °C; given this time window, the material should be processed quickly.

After approx.

40 minutes at 23 °C cross-linking is complete, and after approx. 45 min at 23 °C the workpiece can already be removed from the mould. To avoid fingerprints, a curing time of 2–3 hours (23 °C) is recommended. Curing time is drastically shortened by increasing the temperature.
