Golden Pavillon Colorshift. Two tones in one — the colour shifts with the angle of light.
Golden Pavillon is a unique colorshift pigment that shifts from green to gold, giving your projects a dynamic and eye-catching look. This shifting pigment is ideal for artists and makers who want to add depth and movement to their creations. Thanks to its versatility, Golden Pavillon is suitable for a wide range of applications, including epoxy resin, acrylic paintings, jewellery making, slime, bath bombs, melt & pour soaps, plastics and candles.

Mica doesn't argue with the material — the same jar colours epoxy, soap base, wax and lacquer.
Resin: river tables, jewellery, pen blanks
0.5–1 g/kg for a translucent effect, ~3 g/kg for a full pearl. 30-115 μm particles stay evenly dispersed in the mix.
Soaps & candles
CP soap: 2 teaspoons per 450 g of oils. MP base: ½ teaspoon per 450 g. Candles: 5–10 % of the wax weight.
Car paint & custom
The brand's DNA comes from the tuning scene: peelable film 50 g/gal, clear 25 g/gal, nozzle 1.2. Dark base = richer colour.

How much pigment should I add to epoxy?
From our hands-on practice: 0.5–1 g per kg of mix for a translucent effect (river, sea water), ~3 g/kg for full colour, 5 g/kg for opaque coverage. Always mix it into a small amount of resin first, then into the rest.
Will the pigment sink in a deep pour?
Golden Pavillon Colorshift has 30-115 μm particles that stay evenly dispersed in the mix. Only coarse pigments with 200–700 μm particles (e.g. flakes) can sink — letting the resin thicken slightly or stirring the mix during the process helps.
Which resin is it suitable for?
Any epoxy resin. For crystal-clear castings in which the pearl stands out, we recommend the systems DIPON LuminaCast — Ocean Flow for river tables, Gem Flow for jewellery.
On which background does the effect stand out most?
On a dark one. The manufacturer recommends applying chameleon pigments over a black or dark base — the colour shift is then at its richest; on a light background the effect is softer. This applies to epoxy and paint alike.
What is the difference between Colorshift and Ultrashift?
Colorshift elegantly flips between two tones depending on the angle of light. Ultrashift — originally from the automotive scene — changes colour radically: one piece looks like two completely different colours from different angles.
