Rubio Monocoat Invisible Protector

Rubio Monocoat Invisible Protector is a protective wood finish based on high-quality plant emulsions that preserves the natural look of the wood. The surface gets highly durable protection while the finish does not change the original colour of the wood. Rubio Invisible Protector can be used on practically any wood – it keeps the original shade even on dark species. The technology of this product is based on a revolutionary natural resin base. How to use

Step by step

Sand the wood surface with the required grit (P120) and make sure

there are no scratches anywhere. Vacuum the dust thoroughly and start finishing as soon as possible (the surface can change colour through oxidation).

Use Rubio Invisible Protector at room temperature –

ideally 18-25 °C. Relative humidity should not exceed 70%. Shake the can well; there must be no sediment at the bottom.

Apply the first coat with a microfibre roller at approx. 8

0 g/m² (approx. 12-13 m²/l). Let dry for 3-4 hours.

Apply the second coat of undiluted product with a foam

roller at approx. 70 g/m² and let dry for 16-24 hours.

Sand the surface with P220 grit, vacuum the dust and apply the

final coat as in step 4.
