CARBON METHOD Hard Coat 9H+ Ceramic for Wood is a modern wood protection solution using an ultra-thin ceramic layer that creates an extremely hard, durable surface without losing the natural look of the material. Thanks to nano-layer technology, the wood gets glass-level protection while keeping its natural feel and grain. This system creates a hydrophobic and oleophobic surface that repels water, oils and dirt. Drops do not soak into the surface but run off, significantly reducing the risk of stains, blotches or so-called "water rings".
Hard Coat works as a basic protective layer (base coat) in the Carbon Method system. It increases resistance to scratches, chemicals and everyday wear, while preparing the surface for the final Top Coat layer, which further extends the life of the whole protection.

How Hard Coat works
The ceramic nano-layer creates on the wood surface a microscopic protective film, which works much like glass. This film:
