Product detailed description
DIPON EpoxyPlast 3D B100 Ultra Pour
EpoxyPlast 3D B100 Ultra Pour is a premium epoxy resin designed for applications that require a maximum pour depth of up to 10 cm. Thanks to its low viscosity it flows excellently and reaches even the smallest details. Ideal for furniture making, table pours, lamp design and large-format art projects. The resin boasts a crystal-clear look, high gloss and resistance to yellowing thanks to advanced UV protection with UV absorbers and HALS additives.
With a long working time of approximately 240 minutes at 23 °C this resin is suitable for demanding projects that require slow curing. This prevents overheating and allows you to create smooth, bubble-free surfaces. Mixing ratio 2:1 by weight and a recommended layer thickness of 3–10 cm make this resin an ideal material for demanding professionals and creative makers.

⚠️ The recommended minimum mixing quantity is 90 grams
*If the mixture quantity drops below the 90-gram minimum, the curing time may be extended. It is also possible that the mass will not be completely homogeneous and the exothermic reaction will be too weak for the workpiece to cure fully. The recommended minimum mixture quantity is 90 grams (A 60 grams + B 30 grams), the recommended quantity is 120 grams (80 grams A + 40 grams B).

What is EpoxyPlast 3D epoxy resin
- EpoxyPlast 3D was developed in 2019 as a self-degassing system, easy to use and covering the widest possible range of applications, especially in the art field.
- Since its launch it has become a popular choice among users, especially EpoxyPlast 3D B20 Jewel Cast, which since 2019 has been used by more than 100,000 users. The well-known high-layer systems, such as EpoxyPlast 3D B50 Deep Pour and EpoxyPlast 3D B100 Ultra Pour have also become established – the first systems in Germany allowing pours up to 10 cm.
- These epoxy systems have been used hundreds of thousands of times with excellent results, proving their reliability and ability to create perfect surfaces for demanding projects.
*Dynamic viscosity is measured at 23 °C. A drop in material temperature is accompanied by a disproportionate increase in dynamic viscosity. This is extremely important, especially where self-degassing is concerned.
**The working time is given for a 200-gram mixture in a mixing cup (5 cm diameter). Working time = material temperature 23 °C → 40 °C = doubling of the initial viscosity. The time to maximum exothermic temperature (tTmax) is usually twice the working time.

Frequently asked questions
Instructions | How to use:
Application and use: Check the ambient temperature — next to the pour volume it is the most important parameter. Successful application depends on room temperature and the amount/volume of resin and hardener mixture used. Too high a room temperature can lead to a very strong exothermic reaction, resulting in yellowing, cracking and vapour formation in the mixture. Before use, check the compatibility of the materials to be coated/cast in a preliminary test. The recommended method for measuring all components as accurately as possible is by weight, weighing exactly at a ratio of 100:50 or 2:1 parts by weight based on component (A). Even a slight deviation results in extended or failed curing. Adding too much hardener increases the elasticity of the material and reduces SHORE D hardness. Too much component A results in a permanently tacky film, which cannot be reversed due to polyaddition. The maximum deviation within the tolerance range is 0.1 %. Keep to the recommended mixing time of three to four minutes, then pour into a clean container and mix again for three to four minutes to achieve the most homogeneous mixture possible. Use the mixing container only once. Keep to the recommended maximum speed for mixing both components, which is 300 rpm, to prevent or minimise air pockets during mixing. Hand mixing is recommended for smaller quantities up to approx. 1 kg. Thanks to its long working time, it degasses excellently. For mixing we recommend Allway Tools Helix. To prevent the mixture from leaking out during the long curing time, the mould must be completely sealed. DIPON polypropylene tape is suitable for this and can easily be separated from the mould after curing. Release wax can optionally be used. Cleaning: Use acetone or universal thinner to clean the application tools. Once the epoxy resin has cured, it can only be removed by sanding. Cleaning immediately after use is recommended. Important note: Mixing in the shipping containers (bottles/canisters) of A (resin) and B (hardener) will result in incomplete curing and a correspondingly poor result. Always weigh both components accurately. The higher the room temperature and the larger the mixed quantity, the faster the exothermic reaction.
