Product detailed description
ICE EPOXY Ice Cast Epoxy Resin
ICE EPOXY Ice Cast is a crystal clear epoxy casting resin designed for casting large castings up to 10 cm thick and maximum volume up to 60 litres. Ice Cast resin cures at low temperatures as low as 15°C, which will be appreciated by everyone, especially in the winter season when heating the production area is very expensive. The resin is UV resistant, yellowing resistant and has high adhesion and good flowability. Ice Cast resin has very good natural debubbling and the mixture forms a small amount of heat when mixed.

Key Features of Ice Cast Epoxy Resin
- Crystal clear
- UV resistant
- Cast thickness up to 10 cm
- Mixing ratio 2:1 (resin : hardener)
- Processing time up to 2 hours
- Gel time 6 hours
- Dry to touch in 24 - 36 hours
- Ideal processing temperature 15 - 21 °C
- Up to 60 litres per casting
- Full cure in just 5 days
- High hardness 82 SHORE D
- High temperature resistance up to 95 °C
- Low VOC content 0 g/L
- Odourless

UV resistant

Solid castings up to 10 cm
It enables casting of massive castings up to 10 cm thick.
Processing time up to 2 hours
The long processing time of up to 2 hours provides sufficient time for mixing, pigmentation and de-bubbling of the mixture.
Cures at temperatures from 15 °C
It cures at low temperatures as low as 15 °C, which is appreciated by everyone, especially in the winter months, when heating production areas is costly.
Crystal Clear, No Bubbles
The highest quality crystal clear raw materials are used to produce Ice Cast epoxy casting resin, making it the ideal resin for wood, epoxy table and casting applications. The 75 mm thick cast at 32 °C is crystal clear and has no bubbles.
Low viscosity and long processing time
Low viscosity allows very fast unbubbling. After casting, the bubbles rise up very quickly and release with ease. This is aided by the long processing time, which is up to 2 hours

Primary Use of ICE EPOXY Ice Cast Epoxy Resin
- Casting of river tables and furniture production
- Watering of objects, flowers
- Jewellery making
- Modelling resin
- Art or craft resin
- Highly durable coatings
- Casting of large castings
How to use Ice Cast Epoxy Resin
Application and use
- Ensure that the room temperature of the Ice Cast resin and hardener is maintained at 15-21°C.
- In a dry, clean container, mix 2 parts resin(A) with 1 part hardener(B).
- Stir thoroughly for 1-2 minutes. Mix well along the inside wall of the container so that no unmixed deposits remain on the walls. For mixing, we recommend using Allway Tools Helix.
- Then let it sit for 3-5 minutes.
TIP: We recommend warming the resin and hardener to 21-23°C before actual casting, which improves fluidity and aids in the natural outgassing of the mixture.
Cleaning
Use acetone to clean used application items. Once the epoxy resin has cured, it can only be removed by sanding. It is recommended to clean immediately after use.
Recommendations for the use and storage of Ice Cast Epoxy Resin
- Resin should be stored in a dry place, at a minimum temperature of 10°C, out of the sun and out of reach of children.
- Resin and hardener should not be stored in an open container.
- Application should be carried out where humidity is below 60% and temperature is between 15 - 21°C. If necessary, use a dehumidifier.
- Ice Cast should be used within one year of purchase.
