Product detailed description
Gem Flow 7.5 kg. Resin for small beautiful things.
Pack 7,5 kg — one pack = a series of jewellery and decorations without reordering. Jewellery, pendants, Petri art. Medium viscosity holds pigment exactly where you place it — and the hard Shore D83 surface polishes to a high gloss. Refractive index > 1.59.
One resin. Endless small beautiful things.
Gem Flow is built for jewellery, small castings and artistic work with pigments — Petri art, ocean art and laminates.
Jewellery & hanging decorations
Small castings with diamond clarity, 1–20 mm.
Figurines & castings from moulds
The medium density fills the mould and holds detail.
Petri art & small paintings
The pigment artwork holds its shape — cells do not spread.

production

The pigment stays where you put it.
In a thin resin the pigment sinks to the bottom and the artwork spreads. In Gem Flow's medium density (890 mPa·s) cells hold their shape and the artwork stays exactly as you made it.
- 890 mPa·s — holds artwork, cells and layered effects
- Self-degassing — bubbles rise by themselves
- UV absorbers + HALS — no yellowing in the long term
- Shore D83 — a hard surface for polishing to a high gloss

70 % from renewable sources.
Gem Flow's degassing components come more than 70 % from renewable sources and the whole system is made at DIPON's own production site in Germany. The formulation is free of sVHC and CoRAP substances; after full chemical curing it may come into contact with food.
- Free of sVHC and CoRAP substances
- Food contact possible after full curing
- Demoulding in 16–24 hours — a day-by-day pace of making
Parameters you can rely on
Measured at 23 °C, 200 g, 10–20 mm layer — source: DIPON TDS
Compatible with wood, concrete, glass, metal, glass and carbon fibre fabrics, natural stone, silica sand, marble and granite.
Your first pour will work out too
Check the temperature
Material min. 20 °C (23 °C recommended), surroundings 15–25 °C. High temperature = fast exotherm and yellowing.
Test the substrate
A preliminary compatibility test of the materials you are going to embed.
Weigh out exactly 2:1
Always by weight (100:50). Maximum deviation 0.1 % — more means a sticky film or a soft casting.
Mix twice for 3–4 minutes
Mix → pour into a clean container → mix again. Minimum mixed quantity 120 g, max. 300 rpm — ideally with with an Allway Helix mixer.
Pour and create
Up to 20 mm in a single layer. The pigment artwork holds its shape — you can demould after 16–24 hours and sand after 5–7 days.
⚠️ The most common mistake
Never mix by eye straight from bottles A and B. An inaccurate ratio = incomplete curing. Always weigh both components to the gram. Cleaning tools: acetone or universal thinner, immediately after use.
A set for small-scale making — resins that belong together
One studio, four roles: coasters, laminating, jewellery and slower effects. Combine them.

Frequently asked questions
How deep can I pour at once?
1–20 mm in a single layer at 20 °C. Next layer after 8–12 hours.
Why a thicker resin for jewellery?
In a thin resin the pigment sinks and the artwork spreads. A medium density of 890 mPa·s holds cells and layers exactly where you put them — and Shore D83 then polishes to a high gloss.
When can I take the casting out and polish it?
Demoulding after 16–24 hours (23 °C), sanding and polishing after 5–7 days (20 mm).
How much will 7.5 kg cast?
7.5 kg of mixture (components A + B) equals approximately 7.0 l of casting (density 1.07 kg/l). The calculator above works out the exact amount for your project.
Who is the 7.5 kg pack for?
For makers running one larger project or a series of smaller ones — approx. 7 litres of mixture without reordering.
