production

Pour 10 cm at once. No cracks, no yellowing.
Extremely low viscosity (50 mPa·s) means the resin releases its own bubbles and wets wood and stone perfectly.
- UV absorbers + HALS additives — no yellowing over time
- 240 minutes to mix, pigment and de-bubble
- Very low shrinkage < 0.1 % — no lifted edges
- Minimal carbamate formation — a surface free of stains and blooms

Certified for food contact
Official certification under European regulation 1935/2004 EC. Once fully cured (14 days, 25 °C) it is odourless and free of harmful substances — ideal for boards, slabs and serving trays. Download the certificate (PDF).
- Free of SVHC and CoRAP substances
- Does not affect the taste or smell of food
- Resistant to water, grease and cleaning agents
Certified LuminaCast resin
- Migration into food lab-tested to EU standards
- Documented certificate — PDF free to download with the product
- Peace of mind for things your family touches every day
Uncertified resin
- No guarantee what the surface releases into food
- Safety only as a manufacturer's claim, with no proof
- For boards and serving slabs you're taking a blind risk
Figures you can rely on
Measured at 23 °C, 500 g, 90 mm height — source: DIPON TDS
Compatible with wood, concrete, glass, metal, glass and carbon fibre fabrics, natural stone, silica sand, marble and granite.
Even your first pour will work
Check the temperature
Ambient 15–20 °C, material 20–24 °C. High temperature = fast exotherm, yellowing and cracks.
Test the substrate
Run a compatibility test on the materials you'll be casting.
Weigh out exactly 2:1
Always by weight (100:50). Maximum deviation 0.1 % — more means a tacky film or a soft cast.
Mix twice, 3–4 minutes each
Mix → pour into a clean container → mix again. Max. 300 rpm, ideally with an Allway Helix mixer.
Seal the mould and pour
DIPON PP tape or release wax. Then simply pour — up to 10 cm at once.
⚠️ The most common mistake
Never mix by eye straight from bottles A and B. An inaccurate ratio means an incomplete cure. Always weigh both components to the gram. Clean tools with acetone or universal thinner, immediately after use.
A set for large pours — resins that belong together
One project, four roles: sealing the substrate, small repairs, medium and large pours. Combine them.

Frequently asked questions
How deep can I pour at once?
30–100 mm in a single layer at 20 °C. At a lower temperature and smaller volume even more — follow the TDS.
Is it safe for boards and dining tops?
Yes — certified 1935/2004 EC for food contact. Full chemical cure takes about 14 days at 25 °C. Treat the wooden part of the board with food-safe Howard oil or Wax-It-All wax.
How much resin do I need?
Length × width × height of the pour in cm ÷ 1000 × 1.07 (density) = kg. Add a 10–15 % reserve. You'll find a calculator on the blog.
How much can I cast from a 30 kg pack?
30 kg of mixed resin (A+B) gives roughly 28.0 litres of cast (density 1.07 kg/l). The calculator above works out the exact amount for your project.
How soon can I sand and polish?
Demould after 72–96 hours, sand after a minimum of 8 days (100 mm, 20 °C).
What if it arrives frozen in winter?
Nothing to worry about — let it warm slowly to room temperature. We have a whole article about it on the blog.
