What makers use it for

Effects that hold their shape.

Cell Flow is built for effect art — ocean waves, cell structures and geodes, where slow flow decides the result.

Why slow flow

A wave stays a wave. A cell stays a cell.

A viscosity of 2500 mPa·s — the third highest in the range — means slow, controlled flow. The pigment artwork does not spread and techniques emerge that thinner systems cannot do.

  • Slow flow — effects hold their shape
  • Cell and wave effects (ideal for resin art according to the manufacturer)
  • Next layer after 12–16 h — the painting grows day by day
  • UV absorbers + HALS — no yellowing in the long term

Step by step

Your first wave will work out too

1

Check the temperature

Material 20–24 °C, surroundings 20–25 °C. High temperature + large volume = strong exotherm, yellowing and cracks.

2

Test the substrate

A preliminary compatibility test of the materials you are going to embed.

3

Weigh out exactly 2:1

Always by weight (100:50). Maximum deviation 0.1 % — more means a sticky film or a soft casting.

4

Mix twice for 3–4 minutes

Mix → pour into a clean container → mix again. Max. 300 rpm, ideally with with an Allway Helix mixer.

5

Create effects

50 minutes for waves, cells and transitions — the slow flow holds the artwork. You can demould after 16–24 hours.

⚠️ The most common mistake

Never mix by eye straight from bottles A and B. An inaccurate ratio = incomplete curing. Always weigh both components to the gram. Cleaning tools: acetone or universal thinner, immediately after use.

What you ask

Frequently asked questions

How thick a layer can I pour?

1–20 mm in a single layer at 20 °C. Next layer after 12–16 hours.

How do cells and waves form?

The basis is Cell Flow's slow flow: the pigment artwork holds and does not spread. Cells and the white foam of waves arise from combining suitable pigments with the pouring technique — with thinner systems the effect dissolves.

Can I add a layer the next day?

Yes — the next layer after 12–16 hours (20 °C), demoulding after 16–24 hours. The painting grows day by day.

How much will 3 kg cast?

3 kg of mixture (components A + B) equals approximately 2.8 l of casting (density 1.07 kg/l). The calculator above works out the exact amount for your project.

Why is 3 kg the most popular pack?

It is the most versatile balance of quantity and storage — approx. 2.8 litres of mixture covers most common projects.

S pryskyřici jsem velmi spokojena, prvni zkouška dopadla dobře. Sice byl maličký problém s objednávkou kdy asi chybou dopravce byla znehodnocena ale obratem bylo poslána nová v super baleni. Určitě objednám znovu.
